Rep. Ward Announces Grant for Brent-Centreville Library

(BRENT, ALABAMA)—Representative Cam Ward (R-Alabaster) today announced that a grant was being awarded to the Brent-Centreville Public Library to replace the flooring and make other improvements to the center.

Ward was joined at the center by leaders from the Rural Conservation and Development Council as well as local elected officials who have worked to make this grant a reality. 

The grant was secured from the Tombigbee Resource Conservation and Development Council of Alabama. The $8,200 award will allow the Brent-Centreville Library maintain its current level of services while providing an improved environment for all of its patrons.

“I am very proud of the local support and work done by the Brent-Centreville Public Library to improve the services that they offer to the south Bibb County community,” said Representative Cam Ward.

Ward went on to say “the people of Brent and Centreville have a first class library and much to be proud of. I am glad was able to join them for this great occasion.”
